A True Taste of Chicago

Just when you thought the classic Chicago popcorn mix of cheese and caramel couldn’t get any better, in zooms Flyboy. No doubt, anyone would be thrilled to get a tub of Garrett Popcorn by itself, but bundle it with artwork from one of the most acclaimed artist of our time, and you’ve instantly won. Flyboy creator and Chicago native, Hebru Brantley, collaborated with Garrett Popcorn Shops (or Garretts if you’re in Chicago) to design two limited edition tins with Hebru’s signature characters.

Hebru’s artwork can be spotted alongside buildings across Chicago and other cities, and also on the walls of folks like Jay-Z and George Lucas. While you may not have the funds to buy a Hebru piece for your space, the Hebru/Garrett tins are something special that you’ll want to keep long after your popcorn has disappeared.

This isn’t the first time that Hebru has crossed over into the world of food. In September, Hebru’s cover art for Robert Glasper Experiment's latest album, ArtScience, was featured on a limited edition blend by Chicago coffee company, Dark Matter Coffee. A little ‘bru with your brew.

Limited edition Hebru Brantley tins are available while supplies last in stores and on garrettpopcorn.com. And as if you needed a cherry on top of your buttered popcorn, a portion of sales support the Chicago Children’s Choir. Holiday shopping list complete.
